When I was a kid I was obsessed with going through our old box of family photos. You know the one. The box, worn with age, safely tucked away in a closet of your mom's home. The one that transports you back in time and let's you see life before you even existed.

Your young and handsome grandpa, your beautiful teenage mom at a concert, your parents wedding day, your family vacations when you were a kid. That box is the most precious thing in the house and it's what spurred my love of photography.

It's me, Hi!

"The box of photos, worn with age...that transports you back in time and let's you see life before you even existed"

I got my first camera when I was 11 and I've been the one taking the photos ever since. It was never something I even thought twice about.

Every time I was behind the camera, all I could think of was the "box" the photos would go in and the future generations that would hopefully enjoy them as much as I had.

Even after years behind a camera, if you had told me I would be lucky enough to tell your love stories full time I would've never believed you.

"...But sometimes life nudges us at just the right time and deals us some beautiful cards."

"Documenting was a passion of mine and it came naturally to me..."

All of this life I've been blessed to live fuels the approach I take when documenting your wedding day. I don't even like to use the word "photographing". It's too technical and cold for what I believe photography actually does - tells a story.

From helping plan, coordinate and design weddings, heck even the chaos that comes with being the mom to three small kids. I use all of this in my approach to your day. Having an eye for the fleeting moments (because every moment with kids feels fleeting and precious) Staying calm in chaos, rolling with what comes, and solving problems on the fly if they arise.

"...I bring all of this experience to your wedding day."

My ultimate desire is that you look back on your photos and you remember the in-between. Remembering the swell of love and emotion that makes your heart feel like it's going to burst. That your kids and grandkids look at your photos and see your faces shining with love,

"...the way your husbands hand grazed your shoulder as you listened to your guests toast to your love..."

the way you played with the hair at the nape of his neck while standing in the sun.

Life and love happen in the in-between. The small and fleeting moments.
Let's capture your story.
